What should I know about customs?
Buy2you will assure that the goods clearance at China Customs, but we can not be responsible for clearance in your destination country. When purchasing goods from China, which custom tariff or tax impose on goods when transported across international borders.
If your shipment has been held by customs in your country for import duty tax, you might need to pay taxes to get your parcel. This is unlikely, only 0.1% of the parcels we delivery have been taxed. We not responsible for any custom duties and tax.
We suggest that before shipping, Customers take the initiative to find out rules and regulations of your country customs.

Taxation Explanation in Singapore:
Generally, air freight goods with a value of less than 400 SGD will not be subject to tax
Shipping small package tax is prepaid GST=value of goods 9%
The sea freight package tax is on a collect basis, with GST=value of goods 9%
Air freight declaration with a value below 260 USD does not have any taxes (there will be a 9%+50SGD document fee if it exceeds), while sea freight or slow delivery will have a tax of 9% regardless of the declared amount. If the recipient is a company and needs to clear customs separately, there will be a document fee
How to avoid paying taxes? You can refer to the following suggestions:
- The weight of the package is the important basis for the customs to judge the package as civil parcel or commercial parcel. The package weigh over 10 kg will be considered as the commercial package, so when you submit delivery order, be sure to confirm the weight of your parcel. If you choose the DHL, you also need to consider the volume of items (The charge of DHL is confirmed by both the volume and weight of the commodity).
- The ceiling of package weight is 30 kg. If your package is more than 30 kg, you can submit delivery order respectively, but suggested that each order cannot be more than 10 kg as well.
- A large number of the same item can be regarded as the commercial package, too. So please avoid using the same parcel to send a lot of a single considerable product.
As you know, we are sorry to tell you that we cannot give you 100% guarantee that your parcel will be taxed or not.
Notes:
The number of the item and the weight of the package is the important basis for customs to judge the package as civil or commercial parcel. The package which is more than 10 kg will be more likely to be seen as the commercial parcel, so when you submit delivery order, be sure to confirm the weight of your parcel. And a large number of the same item can be regarded as the commercial package, too. So please try separating the single items into different parcels.
Besides, limited by customs policy, especially food items, please be careful to send them overseas.
How long the parcel be release if held in custom?
Please note custom have the rights to held the parcel for investigation during clearance processing. When parcel being held, what you can do is wait for the custom clearance process finish and release your parcel. According the past experiences, the processing takes around 20-30days (or upto 60days).
